Patsy Ann Schumacher's Obituary
Patsy Ann Schumacher, 91, of Eagan, MN went to be with the Lord, November 21, 2023, at The Commons on Marice in Eagan, MN.
Patsy was born October 10, 1932, in Melvin, IL, the daughter of Chester Ethel (Bayler) White. She married Lloyd Wayne Schumacher, August 20, 1960, in Decatur, IL.
She was a Registered Nurse, working at Decatur Memorial Hospital, various Dr’s offices, the Health Department, and local schools. She enjoyed quilting, camping/traveling, and square-dancing with her husband Lloyd. She was actively involved in a Camping Club, Marriage Encounter, Quilt Guild, Stephen’s Ministry, former member of both St. Paul’s Lutheran and St. John’s Lutheran churches in Decatur, and current member of Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan, MN. More than anything, she loved her Lord, her husband, her children, and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Terry Schumacher (Donna) of Eagan , MN, Beth Waterman (Steve) of Laguna Nigel, CA; sisters, Mary Roger of Paxton, IL and Sharon White of Bellingham, WA; sister-in-law, Ellie White of Paxton, IL; grandchildren, Christopher Schumacher (Rachel), Laura (Scott) Henegar, Jacob Waterman, and Tyler Waterman; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd Schumacher; her parents Chester and Ethel White; sister, Lucy White; and brother, Donald White.
Service to celebrate God’s gift of eternal life for Patsy and Lloyd will be held at 2pm on Friday, July 12 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials can be sent to Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan, MN.
