Paul Bayless' Obituary
Paul Bayless, 83, passed away at Eastland Retirement Community in Auburn Il on February 8, 2023.
Paul was born on October 6, 1939, to Harry and Clara Bayless in Benton Il.
Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed his backyard where he feed the birds and squirrels. He particularly loved watching the birds eat and fly around his yard. He also enjoyed piddling in his flower garden in the spring. On a good day, he enjoyed woodworking. When Judy was alive, they loved drinking coffee and rooting for the Cubs. One of his all-time favorite things was spending time with his family.
Paul is survived by his children, Jodie (Jim) Jones and Shelly (Scott) Markwell; grandchildren, Andrea (Collin) Bushnell, Megan (Michael) Cusey, Brandon Markwell and Justin Markwell; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Sadie and Leona; Brothers Charles (Evelyn) Bayless, Dan (Norma) Bayless and Jim (Roberta) Bayless. As well as numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Judy and infant son, Timothy Bayless.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Mt. Gilead Cemtery on Monday, February 13, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m.
