Paul E. Bradford's Obituary
Paul E. Bradford, 76, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born July 2, 1942, in Pana, IL to Arthur E. and Ethel L. (Clayton) Bradford. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He married Phyllis J. Collett on September 5, 1961 in Decatur, IL. He was a member of Mound Chapel Church of God. Paul was an avid Cubs fan, he loved watching NASCAR and he enjoyed fishing. He took care of his mother and father-in-law for many years when their health began to fail. Paul was faithful to the Lord and his beautiful family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis; his two daughters, Terri L. (Tim) Meadors of Decatur and Rachelle L. (Steve) Sullivan of Louisville, KY; and his favorite chihuahua, Kippy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack C. Bradford.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Paul Bradford will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery where full military honors will be conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be directed to Mound Chapel Church of God 109 E Manchester Dr, Decatur, IL 62526.
