Paul J. Hayes, 55, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 in his home.
Paul was born on December 14, 1959 in Decatur the son of Joseph and Charlotte (Smart) Hayes. He was married four times and had no children. For many years he was an over the road truck driver.
Surviving are his half brothers, Herbert D. Stubbs and Charles R. Smith Sr. both of Decatur; half-sister, Bobbie I. Atwood of Newton, IL; step-father, Robert G. Smith of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his half-sister, Melody Smith and his mother, Charlotte I Smith.
Honoring Paul’s wishes cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. There will be no public services.
