Pauline V Kirby's Obituary
Decatur- Virginia Pauline Kirby, 88, of Decatur passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center.
A service to celebrate the life of Pauline will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home; visitation is 1:00 p.m. till the time of the service. Interment with “Flight Home” Ceremony will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Pauline was born November 20, 1922 in Lee County, Kentucky the daughter of Albert and Ethel (Hogan) Brandenburg. She was a retired beautician and was a member of the Maranatha Assembly of God. She married Forest Kirby in Maple Wood, Missouri, May 25, 1940; he preceded her in death August 31, 1987.
She is survived by her sons, Kent Kirby and wife Carolyn and Randy Kirby and wife Marla, both of Decatur, brother Raymond Brandenburg of Indiana, sister Faye Janson of California, five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one infant son.
