Pauline Stewart's Obituary
Pauline Stewart, 87, of Decatur, passed away on November 13, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Shelbyville.
Pauline was born on May 16, 1933 in Carlinville, IL the daughter of William and Blanche Striplin Glover. She married Rudolph Stewart on April 26, 1952 in Decatur. He passed away on June 22, 1998.
Pauline is survived by her son: Ralph (Marilyn) Stewart of Decatur, IL; daughter: Jeanette (Max) Coleman of Shelbyville, IL; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Hazel Hallbrook of San Mateo, CA. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 grandchild, 1 great-grandchild, 1 brother, and 6 sisters.
Pauline was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School in Decatur. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, doing puzzles and listening to music.
Graveside services to celebrate Pauline’s life will be at 12noon on Thursday (Nov 19, 2020) at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will be from 11:00am-12:00 pm on Thursday at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, Decatur.
