Peggy Yvonne Donaldson's Obituary
Peggy Yvonne Donaldson, 84, of Decatur, IL passed away June 3, 2023 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Peggy was born November 18, 1938 in Huntington, WV the daughter of Ray and Gladys Spurlock.
She married Walter Raymond Donaldson on July 16, 1964 in Decatur, IL.
She was a home health aide. She was a member of New Creation Community Church. During her leisure time she enjoyed playing computer games and working crossword puzzles and word search puzzles.
Surviving are her children, Sherry Thrash (Mike) of Alex, OK, Teresa Waters (Rick) of Albertville, AL, Jeanie Kitchens (Jeff) of Mesa, AZ, Mike Donaldson of Decatur, IL, Tina Carter of Decatur, IL; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with 3 grand dogs and 2 grand cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; grandson, Nathan Donaldson and son-in-law, Spencer Carter.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday June 13, 2023 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Harristown Cemetery.
