Lit a candle in memory of Phillip A Henington
We did not know Phil well but are saddened to hear he has passed. We are relatively new to the area. My husband moved here in June for a new job and had trouble with his truck his first week of work. Phil went out of his way to fix my husband's truck and he was so grateful! We brought our vehicles to Phil from then on. Phil was always so friendly and carried on a conversation like we were old friends! He was truly a good person. May peace be with his family and may God rest his soul.-The Mulgrew family
I just read Phil's obituary and am shocked to see it. Its been a while since I've seen Phil but remember how nice he always was to me. It is so sad and I am so sorry to hear this news. I have known the Henington's for many years and have many very good memories.
When I worked at Paul's Phil was there every day .he was very nice and kind hearted to every one. I just talked to him at Kroger three weeks ago .he will be missed by every one .my prayers are with the family.he was a good person. Nancy Fritts decatur

Thank you so very much for this story about my brother. I appreciate it!
Well i'm shocked and deeply saddened to see here on facebook that Phil has passed away. We were very close friends back when were we promoting and enjoying racing our midgets and minisprints. We worked very hard to bring racing to the Macon County fairgrounds and we put on good shows. After that we moved to Macon Speedway with the minisprints and Phil and his brother Jimmy and myself built a good following of racers to the program at Macon Speedway. Phil and I spent hrs. upon hrs. Promoting the Country's first Outlaw Minisprint Nationals at Macon Speedway. He worked very hard at officiating the racing programs every week and it showed very well with the racers and the crowds. Yes he was a Good Friend, an Accomplished Racer WHOM I WILL MISS DAILY.MAY GOD BLESS HIS FAMILYMY PRAYER IS HE IS WAITING FOR ME TO GET TO HEAVEN SO WE CAN GET BUSY PROMOTING WHAT THE LORD HAS IN STORE FOR US.GOD BLESS PHIL
