Phyllis Glover's Obituary
Glover- Phyllis Marlene Glover, formerly of Decatur, passed away on May 31 at Hospice of the Valley, Surprise AZ.
She was born in Decatur in 1934 to Merlin and Geneva (Kohr) Barber. In 1956 she married Chesley Glover who preceded her in death. Phyllis enjoyed reading, gatherings with friends and family and had a very soft spot in her heart for all animals. She was a long time member of Central Christian Church Decatur, IL
A memorial service to celebrate her life and the lives she touched to be held at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home Monday June 28 at 11:00 am with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Pastor Gretchen Barron of Central Christian Church will officiate. Memorial donations may be directed to American Lung Association or charity of donor's choice. She is survived by her son, Scott Glover of AZ, sister Elaine Hynds (Don) of Decatur, nephews, Steve Hynds (Tina) and family of Decatur, David Hynds (Laura Lee) and family of FL, a niece Lori Henry (Dan) and family of Monticello.
Phyllis will be greatly missed by her family and her dear circle of friends in Decatur, IL and Arizona.
