Priscilla N. Pare's Obituary
Boody-Priscilla N. Pare, 79, of Boody, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services to celebrate Priscilla’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 in the chapel of Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Ruppert officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment with “Flight Home” Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Priscilla was born February 28, 1930 in Fountain Run, Kentucky the daughter of Edgar Benton and Anna Mae (Brandon) Coulter. She was employed at Kelly Potato Chip Factory retiring after twenty-three years of service. She was an avid bingo player and collector of Betty Boop memorabilia. She married Don Q. Pare December 18, 1948.
She leaves behind Don her beloved husband for over sixty years, sons; Darrell Q. Pare and wife Debbie of Long Creek and Kenneth Randall Pare of Boody, daughters; Cheryl Pappas and husband Arthur of Bristol and Vonna Mears and husband Roy of Decatur, grandchildren; Darrell “Rex” Pare, Denise Pare, Nicholas Pappas, Priscilla Pappas, and Kendra Mears, and great-grandchildren; Grant Pare, Keenan Mears, and Cruz Pare.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, two brothers, and four sisters.
