Prudence Rogers' Obituary
Decatur – Prudence Fiorucci Rogers, 88, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 21, 1926, to Henry and Della Fiorucci. She married James J. Rogers on April 16, 1948. She was a homemaker and community volunteer. Macon Resources recognized her as Volunteer of the Year in 1997. Prue was a kind and loving woman who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children. Her oldest child Paul and daughter-in-law Jane (Macko); daughter Patty McNulty and son, Phillip. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Matthew and wife Elizabeth, Andrew and wife Ulara and Jessica and husband Chris Kant; great grandchildren, Kate and Ruby Rogers and Lilly and Scarlett Kant. Also surviving are her two special & loving sisters, Mary Long and Ann Robb; brothers-in-law, Delmar and Evon Rogers, Howard and Maxine Rogers; sister-in-law, Ruby Barnard; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Prue was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jim, her parents, seven brothers-in-law & two sisters-in-law.
Services to celebrate her life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at Central Christian Church; visitation will be one hour before the services in the church. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Macon Resources, 2121 Hubbard Avenue, Decatur, IL 62526.
