Many years have past since I met Rachael. She was a beautiful person with a gift from above. The reason I am posting so late is because like many times, she was in my thoughts and I had to find my song bird. Reading her obit was not what I was expecting.I will always cherish the times I had with her. From Wisconsin and between the Geneses Center in Gary, she always wowed the crowd.May God grant her eternal rest.
Like so many of us may have done who were lucky enough to have the Tender Lee cd, we've listened to it recently. I did – the night before the funeral for my dear friend, Rae, I played one song — Song for You — and as I listened to that voice that will always be a part of my heart – I thought – that was Rae -each one of us knew that she was singing her song "to you" – and she was – She left us such a great gift of our own special memories of her and a voice that reminds us to treasure every day we have together — She called me Shar and I called her Rae — I will miss her and I loved her alot!
Sorry, it has taken so long to write about Rachael..It has take me this long to get over her passing..She was the first love of my live. I met her when she was 18 and I was 20..We were both living in Arthur Ill. at the time. The world will miss a Talented lady,, as I will miss her more. We would talk on the phone,,and she knew that I still loved her…I will miss you BABE,,still loving you..
I was lucky to have known Rachael. Although her body no longer holds here spirit, her spirit does still sing. I moved to LA 18 years ago and thought of her often. I would on occasion brag about her voice to the uninitiated. She was a shaman and healer and her voice was just a manifestation of her great and kind beauty: Her spirit. She is both greatly celebrated and greatly missed.– Jim Bray

Rachel was a really great gal and a good friend. She brought life into every room that she entered. She was generous with her musical talent. Rachel gave a lot of people pleasure with her voice.I have many wonderful memories of Rachel and count myself among the many who miss her.
