Ralph Earl Challans Jr.'s Obituary
Ralph Earl Challans, Jr., 74 of Decatur, IL. passed away at 4:35 A.M. on Tuesday (01-04-2022) at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Ralph was born on February 5, 1947 in Decatur, IL., the son of Ralph Earl Challans, Sr. and Gladys Mae (Shade) Challans. He married Mildred “ Milly” Reata Kiser on December 24, 1964 in Mt. Zion, IL.
He was a member of Camp Wilson Foursquare Church Harristown, IL. Ralph loved working on antique cars, fishing, cooking outdoors, loved his family, loved God and loved serving God with all of his heart.
Ralph is survived by his wife Milly; son Ralph Earl Challans III of Decatur, IL.; three daughters: Lynette Sue Carroll of House Springs, MO., Jeanette Lou Zander and husband John of St. Inigoes, MD, Lori Deanne Thompson and husband JIm of Mt. Pleasant, IA.; two brothers Bill and Chuck Challans, one sister Aetna of Washington, thirteen grandchildren and their spouses and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, five great-grandchildren, one brother Earl, and one sister Trudy.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday (01-08-2022) at Camp Wilson Foursquare Church, Harristown, IL. Burial will be at Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Camp Wilson Foursquare Church.
