Ralph Thomas Taylor's Obituary
Decatur – Ralph Thomas Taylor, 90, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Ralph was born June 10, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH, a son of Homer and Delilah (LeMasters) Taylor. A mess Sargent in the Army during WWII, Ralph worked as an electrician at ADM for 40 years before retiring. Ralph was an extremely hard worker and provider for his family. He was a big St. Louis Cardinal fan who loved sitting outside listening to the radio and cooking on the grill. Ralph married Betty Marie Croxen in Decatur 69 years ago on March 27, 1946.
Surviving is his wife, Betty; sons: Tom (Patty) Taylor of Orlando, FL, David (Ruth) Taylor of Oreana, Mike (Sharon) Taylor and Roger (Dawn) Taylor of Decatur; grandchildren: Meghan, Dalton, Kevin, Kim, Jonathon, Ryan, Lisa and Lori and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Nadine Harner of Decatur; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services followed by interment will be will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Graceland Cemetery.
