Ramona Darlene Goad's Obituary
Ramona Darlene Goad, 84, of Chatham, IL passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at The Loft Rehabilitation of Rock Springs Nursing Home in Decatur, Il.
Ramona was born on February 26, 1937 in Palastine, IL, the daughter of Elmer Ellis and Ruby Deverna (Perry) Goad.
Ramona was a member of the Chatham Baptist Church. She loved her books on tape, and coffee. She loved to spend time with her family and her kitty cats.
She left behind her daughter, Suzanne Burris; granddaughter, Darlene Burris; cousin Betty Bussman and second-cousins, Sheri Tague and Joseph Bussman. As well as many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step mother, Edna Goad; her siblings, Thomas Goad, Treva Blair, Patsy DiVito and Jimmy Goad. The family wants to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of Loft Rehabilitation of Rock Springs Nursing Home in Decatur, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2021 at Graceland Cemetery.
Memorials: the donor’s local animal rescue, or The Alzheimer’s Foundation.
The Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with Ramona’s care.
