Springfield- Randy G. Wadkins, 55, formerly of Decatur, passed away September 08, 2010 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Per Randy’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. A Private family service and burial will be held at a later date. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences and Memories may be shared with family online at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Randy was born December 28, 1954 in Decatur, IL the son of Dean and Janice (Oyler) Wadkins. Randy worked as a pressman for Ford Printing for over 18 years. Randy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and collecting guns.
Randy leaves behind to cherish his memories daughters; Nichole Wadkins and partner Carrie of Springfield, IL, Christina and husband Matt of Virden, IL, brother; Larry Wadkins and wife Jeanie of Mt. Zion, IL, sister; Lori Kowalyk and husband Tom of North Wales, PA, sister-in-law; Sharon Wadkins of Mahomet, IL, two grand-daughters and one grandson, several nieces and nephews.
Randy was greeted in heaven by his parents and his two brothers Pete and Robert.
