Ray E. Morgret's Obituary
Ray E. Morgret, 94, of Decatur, passed away Monday April 20, 2015 at Hickory Point Christian
Village.
Ray was born on November 18, 1920, the son of Elmer and Mary (Goodwin) Morgret in Edina, MO. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, in Africa in the signal Corp. for three years. He married Louise T. Gephart on October 28, 1948 in Decatur. She preceded him in death on August 22, 2013. Ray and Louise shared 64 years together.
Ray is survived by his Son, David R. Morgret O.D. of Decatur; Daughter Marilyn (Ed) Binkley of Great Falls, Montana; granddaughters Jennifer (Peter) Rasor of Phoenix, AZ, Indiana and Erin (Ryan) Holm of Helena, Montana; great-granddaughters Samantha, Alyssa, Leah and Gloria Rasor; great-grandsons, Sawyer and Trevor Holm.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise, brother, Roy, and sisters, Eloise and Dorothy.
Services to celebrate Ray’s life will be private at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
