Raymond Dick's Obituary
Raymond Dick, 72, of Decatur passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Lincoln Manor Health Care.
Raymond was born November 3, 1943, in Champaign, IL, to Raymond and Odelia (Meyers) Dick. He served in the United States Airforce. He married Judith Pennypacker on May 7, 1966 in Bement, IL. They shared fifty wonderful years together. Raymond worked for Climate Control for several years. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Judith Dick of Decatur; son, James (Tabatha) Dick of Cerro Gordo, Steve Lambert of MO; daughter, Sharon (Larry) Jones of Decatur; brother, George (Cinda) Dick of Bement; sisters, Fran Burns of Leroy, IL, Ethal Austin of Macon, Evelyn Dick of Bement, Barb Soltau of Springfield, Ellen Donovan of Leroy, IL, Mary (Allen) Fouste of Waverly, IL, four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Timothy Pennypacker.
Funeral Liturgy to celebrate Raymond’s life will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery on Wednesday; October 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be directed donor’s choice.
