Reginald Orlando Morris' Obituary
Mr. Reginald Orlando Morris, son of the late Barbara Jean Morris and Reginald Morgan, was born on October 22, 1964, in Saint Louis, Missouri. He attended Williams Elementary School and was a graduate of Sumner High School, where he was a popular band member among his many extra-curricular activities. At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined First Free Will Baptist Church, where he was baptized.
Mr. Morris had may passions throughout his life, including music, dancing and his family, just to name a few. He especially demonstrated his creativity and talent as a well-respected barber, where his attention to style and detail shone brightly. He later focused those same energies into becoming a skilled electrician.
The love Mr. Morris displayed for members of his family will last eternally and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. He departed this life Monday, June 10, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family, including his father Reginald Morgan, siblings Darron Morris, Robert Finley (Rosalyn), Dwayne Jones, Edwin Mohammad (Sharron), Toni Mohammad (Antonio), Arnolia Morgan, Reginald Morgan, Rachelle Morgan, the late Alice Morgan, with special love and support from Aunt Lanella King (Tommy), Michael Morgan and Great Aunt Lavada Morgan and a host of aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins and dear friends.
We would like to thank all of those who have supported us during this difficult time. Your love and encouragement will never be forgotten and will stand as a testament to the life of our dear Reggie.
“From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained.” – Jeremiah 30:19
