Rex Allan Bradshaw's Obituary
Rex Allan Bradshaw, 68, of Lovington, IL, passed away January 2, 2022 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Rex was born July 17, 1953 in Decatur, IL, the son of Arthur and Shirley (Pfiefer) Bradshaw. He married Jennifer Webb on June 6, 2009 in Navarre, FL.
Rex was a tire builder for Firestone, serving for 28 years. Following his employment with Firestone, he accepted a position as a bus driver with the Decatur Public Schools. He retired after 15 years of service.
Rex enjoyed working on his house and mowing his yard. He was also a talented guitarist. He was the best “Yay Yay” to his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer; children, Ryan Bradshaw (Rose) of Decatur, IL, Mark Bradshaw of Decatur, IL, Mathew Bradshaw of Decatur, IL, Chrissy Giorgi (Brandon) of Lovington, IL, Cody Barrett of Lovington, IL; brother, Rodney Bradshaw (Becky) of Decatur, IL and grandchildren, Calvin and Cara of Lovington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brothers, Randy Bradshaw and Robin Bradshaw.
Services will be at a later date.
