My thoughts and prayers are with you the family of Dick Backstein. Probably one of the strongest,most honest people I have ever met in my life. The memory of him will always be with me. He did alot to make me a better person. And I am so grateful I had the chance to tell him that. The man never met a stranger and always had an opinion about everything. He was my Friend, and he will be missed.
Im so sorry for your loss. Dick was a good man and hardworker at Firestone. I worked with Dick the entire time he worked at Firestone. I worked in Final Inspection also with Dick. He will be missed by everyone who worked with Dick at Firestone. Dick was a very likeable guy and was so much fun to work with.Im so sorry I cannot be at his funeral but you and his memory will be in my prayers.God Bless All Of You. I worked at the HOTROCK (firestone) and always enjoyed visting with Dick. Seems he always had a grin on his face and a story to share with you.I'm shure he is ridding high in the saddle on the best of everything.He will be missed by many. I am sorry for the family's loss.
I have never met Richard but I am honored to supervise his grand-daughter Casey Backstein while she is currently interning at Taylorville Correctional Center. My condolences to all of your family at this time of sadness.Katherine Ingraham
