Richard C. “Dick” Anderson, 75, of Decatur, died February 26, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur. Dick was born and raised in Fairbury, IL on March 13, 1942. He was the son of A. Keith and Virginia (Nesler) Anderson. He Read Obituary
We were unable to attend the services for Dick, but would like to express our sympathy for his loss. As our family has been a recipient of a kidney donation, we were pleased to note that Dick designated his tissues and organs through Gift of Hope. His final act was a generous one. Blessings to all of his family.
Dick was an outstanding athlete in high school; we "younger" students all lookedup to him with his athletic, musical, and academic prowess. I worked with Dick in Pontiac at a printing co. I always enjoyed working with him. I am sorry for your loss. A lot of good memories of working with him.

Janet and I send our deepest sympathy to the entire Anderson family. Dick was more than a dear friend, he was like family to us. His dedication to helping with our Fairbury-Cropsey H.S. Band benefited hundreds of youth. Anyone who ever met Dick Anderson found him to be friendly, a hard worker, and a loyal friend. He will be missed by many!!
