Richard Estell's Obituary
Richard Estell, 70, of Decatur passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 in his home.
Richard was born September 8, 1942 in Decatur, IL, the son of Carroll Estell and Chella Jean (Hartley) Owens. He was a retired carpenter from Decatur and a licensed auctioneer in Tampa, FL. He spent his spare time as an EBay seller and created a special Facebook group and founder of Decatur Lost and Found Friends.
Richard leaves behind his son, Rick Estell and his wife Eddie Jo of Decatur; daughter, Cheryl Jargon and her husband Ronald of Ramsey, IL; brothers, Tom Ennis, Phillip Estell; sisters, Jeanie Estell Corman, Joan K. Estell-Stonerock; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special friends Marjoria Clark and Kate Shields.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Richard’s life will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be made out to the family.
