Richard James Holliday's Obituary
Richard James Holliday, 78, of Decatur, IL has rejoined his wife, Mary, in heaven on March 14, 2024.
Richard was born February 8, 1946, in Madison, WI, the son of Frank L and Virginia J (Clemage) Holliday. He married Mary Roisum on February 11, 1967 in Madison, WI.
Richard was an engineer for Mueller and Company. He was known to be a dedicated husband and father. He enjoyed antiquing, landscaping, and fine art. He was also an avid Illini fan.
Surviving are his children, John Holliday (Anne) of Decatur, IL, Jim Holliday of Decatur, IL; sister, Patty Holliday of Fitchburg, WI; grandchildren, Madison, Samantha, Matthew, and Kyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary.
Graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Graceland Cemetery.
Memorials: Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
