Richard David Shaw's Obituary
Decatur – Richard David Shaw, 81, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Richard was born August 15, 1940, in Chicago, IL. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war and worked as a tire builder for Firestone before retiring.
Surviving are his children: Adrian (Melori) Sain of Decatur, Cassandra (Dewayne) Sain-Jones of Decatur, Audley (Wendell) Sain of Decatur; grandchildren: LaDarren Sain, Jordan Sain, Adrianne Sain, Ralyn Bond, Jeremiah Henderson, and Amiah Joi; a host of great grandchildren; brother Melvin Shaw of Chicago; and nephew Lenny Shaw of Chicago.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Graveside service will be 2 pm, Monday, November 22, 2021, at Camp Butler National Cemetery with military rites.
