Robbin April "Adcock" Sheets' Obituary
Decatur, IL - Robbin A. “Adcock” Sheets, 66, passed away peacefully on January 21,2025 surrounded by loved ones.
Born on April, 15 1958 in Decatur, IL to Darrell and P. Jean Adcock, she was a lifelong resident of Decatur, IL. She graduated from Argenta-Oreana High School.
Robbin spent her life sharing her love of cooking with others. Whether it was at family-owned establishments like Bobbie Lane's BBQ and Sabino's Pizza Pub, or any of the many other kitchens she graced in Illinois & Texas, she nourished both body and soul. To know her was to be her family, and she welcomed coworkers and customers alike with open arms.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Floyd and Leotha Adcock, Everett and Ella Sumpter; mother P. Jean Adcock; brother Shane Adcock. She is survived by husband, Bill Sheets; father, Darrell Adcock; siblings, Bret and wife Leisa, Heather and husband David; 5 daughters (as Robbin would say “my girls”), Rebecca, Amber and husband David, Linda, Ashley and husband Brandon, Elizabeth; stepsons, Billy and David; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson; 6 nephews, 2 nieces, and several great nephews and nieces.
A Visitation Service will be held from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, Jan 30th at Graceland-Fairlawn. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, April 15, at Graceland Cemetery.
