Robert "Bobby" Lee Suzewits passed away, Friday October 8, 2021 at his residence in Decatur, IL.
Bobby was born to Robert and Bernice Suzewits on July 2, 1937 in Decatur IL.
Bobby is survived by his children, Jeff (Joan) Suzewits, Steve (Jamie) Suzewits, Kelley Suzewits, and Kyle (Rachel) Suzewits; Jeff and Joan's children, Katherine and Andrew; Steve and Jamie's children, Jeremy, Jared, Matt and Evan (fiance Chelsey); Kyle and Rachel's children, Dawson and Colton, Great grandson Jaxsten. Brother Jim Suzewits and Niece Kathy (Tampa, FL.)
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents.
Bob worked for Illinois Power as a lineman for many years and enjoyed time spent with his co-workers. Bobby enjoyed fishing and golfing with all of his buddies in Big "D's" golf group.
The family would like to thank Fran for being an amazing mother & caregiver and her daughters Tina, Lisa & Shelly for their unselfish love and support of Kelley. In addition, a big thank you to Chelsey King for her love, help and support for Poppa, he loved you. To Andrea (Synergy) and Becky (Hospice) we appreciate your help and support.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to United Cerebral Palsy.
