Robert Henry "Bob" Marner's Obituary
Decatur – Robert Henry “Bob” Marner, 89 of Decatur, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 in Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur.
Bob was born August 10, 1924 in Middlebury, IN, son of Jake and Mary (Hostetler) Marner. A U.S. Army veteran, Bob was a member of Life Builders Church of God and worked at True Value in Decatur for many years. He was also an avid musician who played in many groups throughout his career.
Surviving are his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great granddaughter, sister, cousins and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and daughter.
Services to celebrate Bob’s life will be 4 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 until the service time at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
