Robert Eugene Brookhouzen's Obituary
Robert Eugene Brookhouzen, 76, of Decatur, passed away November 21, 2022 at Lincolnshire Place.
Robert was born in Peoria on December 1, 1945, the son of Eugene and Jennilee (Draffin) Brookhouzen. He worked for Caterpillar as a welder and assembly planner. He was a generous blood donor, giving many gallons of blood over the years. He was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs. Robert married Sandra Williams on October 15, 1970 in Springfield, Illinois.
Robert is survived by his wife Sandra; son Corey Mitchell (Cheryl) Brookhouzen of Arden, NC; daughter Stacy (Brian) Rudolph of Decatur; sisters Shari Mulvaney and Teri Starkey; and grandson Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Robert. Memorial services will be celebrated on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00am and will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will take place in Fairlawn Cemetery following the service.
