Robert E. Crowell's Obituary
Forsyth-Robert E. Crowell, 79, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Hickory Point Christian Village after a long illness.
He was born March 18, 1934 in Cobden, Illinois, the son of Paul R. and Gladys E. (Conley) Crowell. He proudly served his country in U.S. Navy. He married Doris E. Tims on March 21, 1953 in London, England. She survives.
He also leaves behind his daughter Lisa A. Bogle of Forsyth, son Paul R. Crowell of Marrero, Louisiana, grandchildren Stephanie Bogle and Gregory Bogle, great-grandchildren Makayla Sims, Hailey Wilson, Bradley Wilson, and Payton Bogle, brother James Crowell of Bloomington, and extended family in southern Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Harold Crowell.
Graveside services for the family will be private. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Decatur Macon County.
