I just can't say enough about Bob and when talking about Bob I can't do it without mentioning Barb. Kind, caring loving and generous doesn't begin to describe them. I don't know how they put up with all those kids for all those years. We were always welcome, whether it was night or day did not matter. Bob was always on, he kept us in line when necessary but was always entertaining. To be exact he was like one of us, a kid at heart and it was Barb's job to keep him in line. After knowing them 40yrs I can say the entire Gordon family left a huge positive impression and impacted my life in a way I'll always remember and be grateful for. I'll always remember Bob coming home from work and seeing my car parked where he normally parked and yelling "Blade get that blue piece of s--- out of my driveway" and him giving me to the count of three to quit chomping my gum. Those are but a few of the many good memories Bob has left with me. I'll try and post a picture taken by Barb in September of '83. The kids in the picture are only a few of the many kids that Bob referred to as "my kids". Love you Bob. Give Rob my love.
