Robert G. McClain's Obituary
Robert G. McClain, 74, of Momence, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Momence Meadows Nursing Center.
Robert was born September 9, 1944, in Decatur, the son of Raymond and Martha (Werts) McClain.
Surviving are his sister, Martha “Marty” Fore of Forsyth; his nieces and nephews, Renee (Morris) Meseke of Missouri; Wayne (Brenda) Fore of Missouri; Larry (Brenda) Fore of Argenta; Julie (Michael) Rambo of Argenta; Melissia (George) Jacobsen of Northbrook; and Steven (Ana) Fore of Florida; numerous cousins, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Wayne Fore; and his two aunts, Elizabeth Welker and Goldie Carlson.
Robert was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. He loved listening to Elvis and drinking coke and eating cookies. He was also an enthusiast of old classical cars.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Pastor Miley Palmer will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Macon Resources.
