Robert J. Neideffer, 54, of Decatur, IL passed away on September 7, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Robert was born August 10, 1967 in Fairfield, CA, the son of Donald Neideffer Jr and Cheryl Huddlestun.
Robert was a 1986 graduate of Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL.
He worked for many years for Clean Services Unlimited in Decatur. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Surviving are his mother, Cheryl Huddlestun of Decatur, IL; father, Donald Neideffer Jr; sister, Cathy Neideffer (Jason) of Decatur, IL; uncle, Jake D. Helton Jr; niece, Mackenzie Auton of Decatur, IL; Shelby Benton (Ian) of Decatur, IL; and nephew, Cori Benton of Warrensburg, IL.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents.
Cremation rites will be accorded and those wishing to honor his life may direct donation to the American Cancer Society.
There will be a memorial service to be held at a later date at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.
