Robert "Bob" Scheibly's Obituary
On April 16th, 2026, Robert “Bob” Scheibly went home to be with God. While surrounded by his loved ones. Robert was born July 20, 1942, in Decatur, Illinois. After graduating high school in 1960. Bob went into the United States Navy serving from September 28, 1962, August 3, 1964. When he finished the four years, he immediately reenlisted into the reserves serving another two years from 1964 to 1966. Bob, then went into the workforce at Staley’s several years later he met the love of his life Linda on March 19, 1984, soon after they were married on June 19, 1984. Bob then took on the role of a cook at the American Legion Post 105 and became post Commander for several years. All while working at pla mor lanes.
Bob and Linda would foster 67 special-needs children throughout the years. WHAT A LIFE! What an amazing soul! Bob leaves behind his brother Steve (Sally) Scheibly. His surviving children Kevin (belated Tina) Scheibly, Scott Scheibly, and Robin (Stevie) Binkley. Sandra Robinson, Mike (Sherri) Justice, Daniel (Heidi) Justice, Amanda (Michael) Mitchell and Ashley Scheibly.
Also 22 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Nellie Scheibly brothers Bill and Mike Scheibly

Robert "Bob" Scheibly will be held fri. 4-24 at Logos church 1833 S. country club rd. Decatur, IL
