Robert B Taylor's Obituary
Robert B. Taylor, 87, of Forsyth passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in his home with his family at his side.
Robert was born May 4, 1925 in Charleston, IL, the son of Walter and Malissa (Kounce) Taylor. Robert proudly served his country during World War II in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Charlotte Pruitt on July 9, 1958. He enjoyed golf, pool and billiards. Robert worked most of his life as an Automobile Auctioneer.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Charlotte of 54 wonderful years; son, Stanley G. (Jayne) Taylor of Palm Coast, FL; grandsons, Brian Taylor of Edge Water, FL and Brent Taylor of Palm Coast, FL; sister, Marjorie Uleke of Glenn Carbon, IL and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 siblings
Services to celebrate Robert's life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday January 15, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to DMH Hospice.
