Robert Wesley Zindars' Obituary
Robert Wesley Zindars, 82, of Decatur, IL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:35 p.m. at his home in Decatur. Robert was born on July 19, 1940 in Monticello, IL, the son of Roy and Doris (Lewis) Zindars. He married Norma (Eskew) Zindars on October 20, 1963. Robert retired from Hundman Lumber in 2001.
He was proud of his sons whom he taught construction skills and good work ethics at a young age. He was a man of few words, but showed his love in big ways. He enjoyed taking his family on vacations and camping trips. His grandchildren will forever have fond memories of sleep-overs, bike rides on nature trails and games of UNO. Robert was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God.
Robert is survived by his wife Norma; sons: Kent (Rita) Zindars, and Aaron (Wendy) Zindars; brothers: Allen and David Zindars; grandchildren: James, Brittany, Madison, Dalton, Briar, Kristen and 14 great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held on August 21st from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Harristown Village Hall, 185 N Kembark Street, Decatur, IL 62522.
