Roberta J. Henson's Obituary
Roberta Jean Henson, 83, of Decatur, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014, at Vibra Hospital of Springfield.
Roberta was born March 11, 1931, in Decatur to Robert and Ida (Lemar) English.
She married Troy Henson on June 4, 1949, in Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, Troy of Decatur; one daughter, Gail (DJ) Alleman of Mt. Zion; six grandchildren, Ryan Younker, Dustin and Dillon Studebaker, Brooke Brill, Brittney Alleman, Alexandria Hall; five great-grandchildren, Zoe Studebaker, Rylee and Tyler Younker, Peyton and Paxton Brill; one sister, Laura (Don) Drummond of Clearwater, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth Eugene Henson; one daughter, Sherry K Hall; one granddaughter, Jamie Gilstrap; two brothers, Henry and Jimmy English and one sister, Marie Waldon.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated to a charity at a later date.
