Roberta West's Obituary
Roberta M. West, 85, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in her home with her family by her side.
Roberta was born on February 26, 1932 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of Robert E. Neat and Mildred M. Martin. She married Dale L. West on March 6, 1948 in Decatur. She attended Glad Tidings Church and enjoyed bowling and camping.
Roberta leaves to cherish her precious memories four sons, Robert (Diane) West of Decatur, IL, David (Leslie) West of Decatur, IL, Michael (Tammy) West of Cerro Gordo, IL and Norman West, also of Decatur, IL. Also leaving behind fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three special nieces, Pam (Dan)
Hettinger, Paula (Bill) Ratliff and Patti (Bill) Kaufmann
She was preceded in death by her spouse, both parents, one sister; Deloris June Montague and grandson, Scott Williams.
Memorials may be made to New Life Pregnancy Center and Harbor Lights Hospice in Roberta’s’ honor. A special thanks to Harbor Lights Hospice RN Christine and Chaplain, Bob Goebel.
A graveside service to honor the life of Roberta West will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at North Fork Cemetery at 10:00 A.M, located at 5326 N. Fork Rd, Decatur, IL , 62521. Please join the family following the service for fellowship, visitation and food.
