Rodger Frees' Obituary
Rodger Frees ,62, of Decatur passed away on October 2,2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Rodger was born October 14th, 1958 the son of Bonnie Pyles. He was an avid music lover, father, and grandpa. He worked as a parts salesman for various car dealerships over the years. His true passion was music. He loved to do sound for several local bands and loved going to concerts especially Train. In his spare time he often watched the Chicago Bears, NASCAR, and spent time with his grandkids.
Rodger was preceded in death by his wife Tara Lynn Frees, his brothers Bruce Martin, "Lil" Tommy Martin, Mother Bonnie Pyles, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his children Ian (Lauren) Frees, Bailey Frees, his grandchildren Gracelyn Prosser, Aislyn Frees, and Ian S. Frees.
A visitation for Rodger will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 1-3pm at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3pm also at the funeral home.
