Ronald Herron James' Obituary
Ronald H. "Ron" James, 80, of Decatur, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mr. James was born March 19, 1932, in Decatur, son of Herron W. and Lela B. (Sutton) James. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he worked as a product handler at A.E. Staley and operated Ron's Resale Shop for many years. He married Beverly Crawley on June 14, 1957 and she preceded him in death on October 29, 2007. Also preceding him in death were his parents and one son.
Surviving are his step-children: Gary Caldwell, Beverly Charles, and Paul Caldwell; sister, Marie; along with many step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held in Graceland Cemetery.
