Ronald Lugari's Obituary
Ronald Leo Lugari 76, of Decatur passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Imboden Creek Nursing Home.
Ron was born on May 23, 1946 in Hillsboro, IL. He was in the Army, where he served from 1965 to 1968 and received a honorable discharge. The son of Leo and Maxine Lugari. Ron was the owner of Lugari Auto & Truck Service Center. He was a hard working man, who was proud of his family. All that knew him, knew what his business meant to him and how hard he worked to provide for his family.
Surviving are Dianna Lugari and his children Amy Hartman (Scott) of Decatur, IL; Ronald Leo Lugari Jr. of Decatur, IL; Megan Smith (Mike) of Decatur, IL; Leandra Fyke (Kevin) of Decatur, IL and Michael Walters (Gretchen) of Travelers Rest, SC. He raised two Grandsons Kolton Powars (Natalie) of Decatur, IL and Kolby Powars (Caroline) of Decatur, IL. He enjoyed time with his many Grandchildren; Mackenzie, Chandler, Bryana, Leo, Gianna, Liana, Nathaniel, Elia, Jerome, Karmen, Piper and Liam.
After many years, he was reunited with his parents Leo and Maxine Lugari and brother David Lugari. Along with his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many more loved ones.
A memorial service will be held for Ron at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home 2091 N Oakland Ave. Decatur, IL on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at: http://www.gracelandfairlawn.com
