Ronald McGeorge's Obituary
Ronald William McGeorge, known to his loved ones as "Mac" passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 83 in Warrensburg IL. Mac was born in 1940 at home in Niantic IL and stayed in the central Illinois area throughout his life.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Henry McGeorge, Doris and Kenneth Unland, and his life partner Virginia Michl.
Mac is survived by his daughters, Lori Adams and husband Tom, Michell Brockman and husband Tom, his grandchildren, Breanna Mayes and husband Jesse, Evan Maxwell, Dustin Adams and wife Reagan, Caitlynn Colbeck, and Garrett Brockman, and great grandchildren, Harper, Madelynn, Caiden, and Caleb. Brother Thomas McGeorge and wife Beverly, and nephews Dan McGeorge and Jason McGeorge and wife Stephanie and family.
Mac was his happiest spending time around the pool table, listening to Waylon Jennings, rocking in his rocking chairs, following NASCAR and the legendary Dale Earnhardt, and riding his motorcycles. Mac relished every moment spent on his motorcycle, especially riding out West, and only retired from riding at the age of 80. Mac will be remembered for his dedication to what
he believed in and enjoyed. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved him. You will be greatly missed Grandpa Mac.
A private graveside service will be held.
