Reynolds, Ronald Wayne's Obituary
Ronald (Ronnie) Reynolds, 89, died at home in Chandler, AZ, on September 19, 2024. Ron was born to James and Emma Reynolds, the youngest of six children.
He was devoted to his wife, Mary K. (Largent) for 64 years; she resides in Arizona. They were blessed with 4 children: Bryan (Dawn) Reynolds, Anne (Luis) Garza, Sara Mitchell and Joel (Shonna) Reynolds.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Veda (Del) Meseraull, Lewis (Deannie), Lucille (Harold) Peel, Evelyn (Bill) Hines, Albert Lee (Elsa). In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren: Matthew and Werevyn Reynolds; Amanda, Daniel and Diana Garza; Andrew and Anthony Mitchell; Aleah Reynolds; and one great-granddaughter, Eleanor Mitchell.
Ron graduated from Millikin University with a degree in accounting and had a 44-year career with Caterpillar in Decatur and Peoria.
Ron will be remembered for his wit, kindness, compassion and love for animals. He was a man of faith who led fellowship meetings in their home.
A celebration of life will be held October 12, 2024, at Graceland-Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur, Illinois. Family will receive friends an hour before the 11 am service.
