Ronald Lee Schoby's Obituary
Ronald Lee Schoby, 72, of Montgomery, TX, passed away on Monday (09-13-2021) at Houston Methodist The Woodlands.
Graveside services will be held on 11 A.M. Monday (10-04-2021) at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Kenney, IL. with visitation from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m on Sunday (10-03-2021) at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home Decatur, IL. Military Rites will be conducted by the DeWitt County Amvets.
Ronald was born on March 5, 1949 in Decatur, IL. the son of Donald Lee Schoby and Norma Jean Cox. Ronald served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Bennett Motor Express for over 20 years. Ronald also enjoyed fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his special friend, Judy Hollar of Montgomery, TX.; daughter: Rhonda Burke (Von Harenberg) of Boerne, TX; mother: Norma Jean Schoby of Decatur, IL.; grandchildren: Shauna Adams and husband Dillon of Kettering, Ohio and Mason Burke of Fairborn, Ohio; Great-granddaughter: Arya Adams. 2 brothers: Rick Schoby and wife Jackie of Decatur, IL and Ken Schoby and wife Donna of Fayetteville, AR; one sister: Karen J. Schoby of Clinton, IL; Nieces and nephews: Kimberly Blomberg (Scott) of Springfield, IL. and Rachel Robbins (Kirk) of Rogers, AR; 2 great nephews and one great niece.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Schoby and one nephew, Sam Schoby.
