Rev. Ronald T. Allin 88 yrs old of Decatur, Il passed away peacefully in his home the morning of sat. Jan 20.
A memorial service will be held Friday January 26, 2018, 11:00am, at First Presbyterian Church, Decatur, IL. Luncheon to follow at church.
Loving Husband and Father, he spent his life in the service of others through his ministry of 63 years as a Presbyterian minister. He loved to laugh, work on cars(especially foreign),and really good scotch.
He was part of the chapel of four chaplains at Ground Zero to minister to first responders.
Ronn touched so many hearts, he will be deeply missed. We will always remember his humor and love for people.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate Carolyn, Brother Gerald (Dorothy) Children: David(Christine), Gena(John), Linda(Rick), Mark(Marilyn), Nancy(Dan), Peter, Tava(Richard). 7 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by Parents Rev. Cecil and Olga Allin and Daughter Kelly.
