Rose M. Dick's Obituary
Decatur-Rose M. Dick, 88, of Decatur, passed away 4:55 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Heritage Health in Mt. Zion.
Rose was born November 30, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of Luciano and Mary Elizabeth (Cimino) Fiorino. She was previously employed at Grigolet with nineteen years of service. She was devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to sing and was an excellent cook. She married James W. Dick, Sr. July 3, 1946.
She leaves behind her children Joe Fiorino and wife Sharon of Pasadena, MD,
John Fiorino of Melbourne, FL, Phyllis Atwood and husband Larry of Decatur, IL, James W. Dick, Jr. and wife Sherry of Decatur, IL, Rose England and companion Stephen York of Decatur, and Margaret Gwin and husband Bob of Lovington, sister Margaret Alford of Baltimore, MD, eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, three brothers, and granddaughter Tina Tomlovich.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff especially Kayce for all of their loving compassionate care.
Services to celebrate Rose's life will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
