Rose Marie Jargon, 79, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Decatur, IL.
She was born on July 2, 1946, in Decatur, IL, to the late Carl Hershel Daniels and Bessie Eleanor Jackson Daniels. Rose was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She was a member of Elks Lodge #401, Women of the Moose, and Order of the Eastern Star.
Rose knew how to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed socializing, whether it was going out shopping with friends or meeting up for dinner and drinks. She never missed an opportunity to go dancing and made it a point to get out of town and spend time in Florida at least once a year.
Her family meant the world to her. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, brought her years of cherished memories, which are now held by: daughter, Tammy Benton and husband Frank; grandchildren, Christine Henderson and husband Doug, Gussie Swarms and wife Rosanne Kidd, David Benton and wife Kassie, Ashley Swarms and husband Jerry Wilson; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Ella, Brendan, Noah, Hazel, Macklin, Elijah, Frankie, and Ezekiel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Bud” Jargon; son, Larry Joe Pugsley; and sister, Shirley.
In accordance with Rose’s wishes, no public service will be held.
