Rosella Ann Nelson's Obituary
Decatur-Rosella Ann Nelson, 95, of South Wayne, Wisconsin, formerly of Decatur, passed away, Monday, October 29, 2012 in her daughter's home.
Services to celebrate Rosella's life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Monroe Hospice Clinic, 515 22nd Ave. Monroe, WI, 53566.
Rosella was born September 18, 1917 in Cantrell, the daughter of John and Grace (Disney) Rule. She was previously employed as an elevator operator in the Standard Office Building and later as a podiatrist's assistant. She was a member of the VFW Post #99 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and camping. She married George Edward Nelson December 24, 1961. He preceded her in death June 8, 1997.
She leaves behind her daughter Dorothy Surrell and husband Tom of South Wayne, Wisconsin, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, and sons John and Ellis Everman.
