Decatur-Rosemary A. Williams, 76, of Decatur, passed away at 4:43 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, Illinois.
Services to celebrate Rosemary’s life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Connie Green officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Decatur Memorial Foundation. Rosemary was born April 10, 1933 in Decatur the daughter of Lee Dale and Grace Marie (Anderson) Weddle. She graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse. She worked as a R.N. at DMH before answering the call to serve as a nurse in Bermuda, where she met her husband who was serving in the USAF. She was a lifetime member of Prairie Avenue Christian Church, Gold Star Wife. She married Clarence Arthur Williams December 15, 1957. He preceded her in death in October of 1963.
She leaves behind her daughter; Connie Bublitz and husband Mitch of Harristown, granddaughters; Sarah Bublitz of Decatur, Abigale Bublitz and fiancé Kyle Bradford of Decatur, and Emile Bublitz of Harristown, brother; Darrel Weddle and wife Loretta of Pana, and sister; Joan Doll and husband John of Argenta.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents and husband.
