Rosemary E. Woods' Obituary
Rosemary Woods died on December 7, 2011, at 10:08 AM with her family right next to her at her home.
A service to celebrate the life of Rosemary will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 12, 2011 in the chapel at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, visitation will be 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service. Interment will be at the Drummond Cemetery in Neoga, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
She was born on January 26, 1943, to Roland and Berdina (Blythe) Hatfill. She was the fifth child but the first daughter out of 8 children. She lived a very dedicated and full life. When she was 16, she married her High School sweetheart Benjamin Fetters. Down the road, she later married Larry Woods. During all these years, she was a wonderful mother and CNA. She loved doing what she did best. She was also a Godly woman and loved Him very much. She had a rough life growing up but she still held onto the Lord with all her heart. She loved going to church and spreading the Word. She often kept her grandkids for the weekend and loved spending time with all of them.
Rosemary leaves behind her children Robin Pantry of Decatur, Richard French of Elko, NEV, Rob(Carrie) French of Effingham, Steven Hall of Washington State, Matthew Woods of Decatur, and her grandchildren Josh(Stacy) Byers of Decatur, Chris French of Effingham, Rachel Byers of Mt. Zion, Abby Byers of Mt. Zion, Richard French Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Grace French of Effingham, Kristina French of Effingham, Billy Blair of Effingham, Alexis Blair of Effingham, Zoe French of Effingham, Ava French of Effingham, Gabriel Hall of Casey, and her great grandchildren Lincoln Byers of Decatur, AJ and DJ French of Effingham.
She is preceded in death by Benjamin Fetters, Ronnie French Jr., Berdina Foreman, Roland Hatfill, and Larry Woods.
